Philosophy

All landscape projects demand thoughtful, comprehensive, and collaborative discussion with the homeowner. This process should be fun, and not a chore; conducted so that a client’s vision, lifestyle requirements, and budgetary guidelines are all clearly addressed. Open and active communication is key, and we welcome and encourage input from everyone involved. The success of any project lies in the details. Nothing you bring to the table will be considered silly or trivial. We enthusiastically invite all ideas, and feel every project is best served by exploring all options early on in the process. If your concept is crazy; I will tell you. Otherwise, we will find a way to make it work.

The last word on a completed project should not be “what else could we have done ...” The last word on a project should be "it is just perfect!"

"Dana Schock did an incredible job on our outdoor project from conceptual design, planting selection, detailed drawings, and project oversight. We loved his professionalism, his vision, and his unerring attention to detail. We also loved his outright enthusiasm for our project! Dana always made us feel like we were his top priority, even though I knew our project was on a smaller scale than many others. His transformation of our outdoor living space and landscape was truly nothing less than stunning, and I am so very proud of it. Dana is a talented, creative, and passionate landscape architect. My husband and I would recommend him to anyone without reservation and would have no doubt they would be contacting one of the best in the industry."
